I bet you I'm right!!! ;)

So while I was in the middle of doing some editing, I was here and there texting with a friend and was given yet another reason to love my iPhone...the opportunity to prove to people that I love that I am right (yet again)!!! hahahaha!

I took a picture of my screen and emailed it to prove what was typed was "awesomeLess" not "awesomeNess" (my text are in green). But the email was not coming through on their end, so I decided the next best thing to do is blog about out! :)

Maliece & Trent: Engaged!!!

Maliece and I met in a college Political Science class or was it a Nevada History class...I can't remember, and I mostly can't remember because it was such a long time ago. But either way, it was with a professor that reminded me of Ben Stein. They both had that nasal sounding voice. And their sense of humors are very similar. And actually, I think they look like they are should be related, like cousins.

Anyway...Maliece and I met in class and then a few weeks later we literally ran into each other at church and we were joyfully surprised! And that was just the beginning, Maliece and I also worked together for a while and just became really great friends! As time has gone by and as life always seems to do, it eventually became occasional phone calls catching up or a long dinner promising that we weren't going to wait another 6-8 months to do this again. Well, this time around, that promise was completely distracted by Trent!

Maliece called me up out of the blue and I thought as I was answering my phone, "Awe Maliece is calling me! We haven't talked in awhile and now she is the better friend because she beat me to the 'hey let's catch up' phone call!!" But it was an even better phone call than I was expecting because not only was she getting married she wanted me to take the pictures!! Woohooo!! I am beyond excited to shoot the wedding of such a dear friend. What is even better, Trent rocks! He is such a cool guy and is definitely winning his way to becoming one of my favorite grooms!

I am a natural light photographer. I rarely shoot indoors and even if I do shoot indoors it will only involve natural light and not studio lighting. Well Maliece and Trent knew that they wanted studio shots for their engagement pictures. I haven't shot studio pictures since college because I love the outdoors and how I can play with natural light, but I was up for it! Maliece and Trent can tell you, I tried to push for an outdoor photo shoot, but they knew what they wanted and well, they were right. We had a great time and there are a lot of great shots. I will stop being so long winded and finally show you some!!

This shot was Trent's idea, and well, it came in a close second for my favorite shot! hahah! Do you see what I mean by Trent being so cool! :)

Dear Winter: Sorry, but I'm Falling in love with Spring.

Today is GORGEOUS!!!

I hope that you were all able to enjoy at least some of this day. I sat out on my balcony for a little while to breathe in some of the beginnings of spring. I hope that I can get off the photo editing train soon and get out side to enjoy the sweet slight breeze and cozy warm sun!!

Did anyone else watch the Harry Potter marathons on tv all last week?! When I watched the Goblet of Fire I was thinking, "oh twilight boy, when you made this movie you have no idea what is in store for your future!!"
