the office. the funny.

I LOVE this show. I can't help it. But then again, I don't want to. It's hi"larri"ous (old inside joke, who remembers that one?)! I am so not caught up on the third season either. I kinda know what is going on, but I have not watched from the beginning of the season until current show.

I was checking out nbc.com earlier in the week, and discovered that there is a producer's cut of an old episode, I've watched it twice now, during my lunch break. I'll have my headphones on aaaaand just start busting out laughing out of no where. My co-workers LOVE me! haha.

And don't get me started on this one....

...especially when he does that look. I think if you don't have a crush on John Krasinski. You are...you...I just...I don't understand. I am baffled if you are a single female and not slightly wishing this guy was working in your office. Seriously! He was on Ellen not too long ago. He was witty and adorable aaaand it made me have an even bigger crush on the guy.

The next post...John Krasinski on Ellen.

oh sigh. pitter patter!!! what a great smile. it's like i'm 12. hahaha.

New Music.

So.

I ran across this. David LaBruyere made a cd. It's a "dance party" cd. I'm interested, some what. I am so dirt poor right now, that I can't even afford this! It's ridiculous, I know! But when the funds come back, this will possibly be a new addition to my cd collection.

Please just answer the question.

One of my worst and best traits is that I am an open book. You ask me a question, I answer it. I rarely am able to avoid not answering something because I don't want to. And I am a really bad liar. So I've been working really REALLY hard for the past six months on how to not come off like I am avoiding answering questions, still be personable/personal, but still keep what I want private. I think I have gotten better at it, but I still feel at times I am not giving what I have or what I could give to people. It's a hard line for me, for others not really. They seem really good at it. But then again, I'm new at this.

But then again, I have moments, when I can't believe that some people could ask the kinds of questions they do. People can be blunt and nosey!

This is a good example of how I would like to answer a question. John Mayer posted an interview he answered questions to for RollingStone.com Contest "I'm with Rolling Stone" something or other. This one was one the questions and this is a great answer. It made me laugh.

6. Ever purchase a Jessica Simpson album?
I listen to most new music released every week.

See. Nicely done. Answered, but not really. hahaha.

heeeeeere's johnny!

Just a little bit of Johnny for ya. I took these pictures at the Tempe Music Festival in April '06. Very enjoyable. He was with JM3 during this concert.

I think if you know me, well enough, you know of my love for this guy. I am not a "oh he is so hot, I want his body!" type of fan. I am a "oh man that hook was so tight! DUDE! He can jam on his guitar!" type of fan. I think that is one of the reasons why I'm not very vocal about being a big fan. I think people automatically get the wrong impression why I enjoy him so much because (and yes I'm about to generalize) most girls like him for physical reason more often then not.

I also enjoy the fact that he can be a pretty funny guy. I wish that I had guy friends like him. Funny yet just enough cocky and sometimes enough of an idiot that you could never really be attracted to him, ya know what I mean? Plus...please, the hair. I have scissors if he needs to borrow them. HOLY COW! :)

I hope you enjoyed the short show. There will for sure be more in the future. That was just a teaser!

second place.

Do you ever have moments in your life where you feel like you are just running the race in second place?

You are giving what you got. You can see everything in front and behind you, but you just can't pass up the one thing in your way. The one thing that will make you the winner. The one thing that will allow you to have all the praise and glory and to be number one. Just that one thing is the only thing that is keeping you from winning it all....

....yourself.

i hate that! :0/ haha.

A moment of silence please.

So earlier this week I went with my family to TGI-Fridays off of Sahara and Decatur. Well in the same parking lot sat my ever favorite store Tower Records.

Aaaand it was....
CLOSED. Shut down. No longer in business. Blacked out. Doors LOCKED!

I've known for some time that it was closing. I had a ton of friends tell me that I need to go down there and get in on some of the good deals they were having. But I never went. Mostly because I didn't have money to burn but also because it made me sad. Tower Records and I were pals. When it was late, and I was bored and I needed something to do at 10:30 at night, Tower was there for me. I could find the oddest albums. Movies that I wish I had on dvd and oh look, of course, Tower has it. Who doesn't love a record store that is open til midnight. It was like my own little version of "Empire Records".

(...say it with me now "Empire Records, open til midnight, this is Mark.")

So I didn't techincally say "good-bye" to my buddy, my pal. So I say it here now.

bye. i'll miss you. :(

By the way, if you have never seen Empire Records, oh man....it's a cult classic.
Love this movie. If you ever want to watch it with me, I'm always up for it!

Mandy

This is Mandy.

When Kyle left for his mission, I soon realized that I missed having him around. The house was kinda empty with him gone. So I found a emotional replacement in Mandy! haha.
I got her at the animal shelter. She was about a year old when I took her home. I think it's been almost, if not two years now, that we have had her. She is a super sweet dog, but FULL of energy, way more bark then bite, aaand yes, I will admit, she is a little A.D.D. She is just crazy sometimes. She loves running around and playing fetch. She is really good at that. The only thing about Mandy that I feel so bad about is the fact that I don't know what happen to her the first year of her life. I think she was abused by a male because she can sometimes really get scared around guys. It makes me sad, the poor puppy.

She is an Australian Shepherd. My favorite thing about her which is also a REALLY bad habit that I have a hard time breaking her of is, when you stand over her and then pat your stomach she will hug you! She jumps up and just wraps her paws around you and when you start petting her, she leans in some more and just cuddles up to you. She is a great cuddler.

I get flack for naming her Mandy. She looks like a Mandy, well her name looked like it should end with a "y" so I we tried to think of names that ended that way. It is what ended up fitting her. I call her Mandy Moo a lot of the time, but I also call her Puppy and Naughty Girls, but I don't think she really knows that's not a good thing! Ha! Heck, she has a theme song too. Barry Manilow wrote Mandy about his dog right?! :)

Thus it begins...here.

I feel like I've done this before. Oh wait. I have.

myspace.

Yes. I'll admit it, but I won't make it easy for you! You will have to find me if you really want to see it. A warning though, it's not too exciting. It's been ages since I've updated and I think it's too time consuming to post something that should be simple. Thank you Blogger.

I like blogs with pictures. So here is a picture. This is me and my (little) brother/best friend, Kyle. I love this kid to death! I do almost anything for him...I say that because if I did do anything for him, well then, I'd pretty much be lying! :) haha. Nah, really...Kyle is amazing.

I can't wait to see what he does with his life. He is pretty hilarious too. He is always making me laugh. He can tell really great stories, just as long and you don't ask him to tell you a great story, because you heard he tells great stories. The pressure can get to him! haha. :)

It is pretty safe to say I will talk about Kyle again. It is also safe to say this is probably a rare moment you will actually see ME in a picture. Thus as it should be for a photographer! I'm not sure who will read this, but if you are, it's likely I told you because I like you!

So enjoy. I know I will.
