Blast from the Past! A-woo-hooo!

My niece Kealani, loves to watch the old cartoons that my parents still have. Well when I say 'old cartoons' that means, tapes. VHS tapes.

She usually likes to watch "Bongo".

Which I love/loved this movie too, so I'm happy to watch it with her. I too like to sing along about how bears tell each other they love each other with a slap...but by the 5th time, it gets old.

So I told her to pick a new movie. She picked Duck Tales. So we stuck it in, and just like riding a bike, when the theme song came on I automatically started to sing with it. I had to laugh at myself kinda surprised that I remembered the words like I watched it yesterday.

I thought you might want to take a little trip down memory lane with me too...I found the theme song on YouTube. Enjoy.

(seriously though, this theme song is like the Kenny Loggins soundtracks of cartoon theme songs, right?!)

New Moon...a Twilight moment.

I wonder if Robert Pattinson feels a lil' like a piece of meat with this puppy. Here is a movie poster for the new movie:

(I'm not complaining, I'm just saying! hahaha!)

Did anyone else watch the Harry Potter marathons on tv all last week?! When I watched the Goblet of Fire I was thinking, "oh twilight boy, when you made this movie you have no idea what is in store for your future!!"

I'm going through my ba-jillion pictures from Texas. More posts to come soon! :)

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

Whaaaaat?! Yeah, I know. I thought that too. Duuude. Seriously. This was a happy little accident I found (while taking a mini break from post work on pictures). It's a little under 45 minutes. It's a three part series that was made during the WGA strike. If you are a fan of Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy the Vapire Slayer and Firefly), then you probably already know about this. I only throw his name in there because, that might carry more clout that this is not a crappy little webisode. It's well done. Really.

I think the biggest reason why it is awesome is because of Neil Patrick Harris. But really the whole thing is great. The music, the lyrics...all of it. It makes you laugh and makes you think, why am I enjoying this obvious over acting and surprisingly great voice of Doogie Howser? And no joke, they can all sing!!

Wanna know more..here is the Wikipedia definition.

And really...even better, here is the actual musical. There might be about two parts of brief "eek" talking for the faint of heart, but really...this mini-web/movie/musical/brilliance is so great. I love how it begins...Please enjoy:

Let me know what you think! I really wanna know.

**EDIT** FYI: You can download the Dr. Horrible show and soundtrack on iTunes.

The Clooney

Yes. I'm talking about George Clooney.

I rarely, if ever, have blogged about a specific actor before. But I just read this article about George in Time Magazine. I was very impressed and became a bigger fan of who is as a person more than I was before. Not that I know him personally or anything. But anything that I've ever read of him or watched he is just a guy's guy and a girl's dream guy...and I'm just talking about personality alone! He is so self-deprecating in the most lovable, comfortable way. And rarely do I feel a man can pull it off the way that I think George can.

So after reading the article from the actual magazine, I decided to jump online to see if the article was online to point out to a friend (bonus: it is written by Joel Stein too, the couple of things that I've read of his, I've enjoyed). What is the coolest thing is that Joel Stein invites George Clooney over for dinner at his house for the interview!! I think that takes gust to do! It was a great article.

Well the main reason why I am blogging this is because of the video that is online with the article. If you decide to read the article, which I recommend, PLEASE read the article FIRST before you watch the video. It will make the video SO much more better than if you just watch the video first.

Here is the link. And here is a link of pictures from the article in the magazine and also not in the magazine. I LOVE photography! :)

I've Bop to the Top...

So. Sigh.

I'm admitting here and now that after much convincing by friends all around me, I am on the High School Musical band wagon. I enjoy some of the songs, and the movie is cute.

If I was 12...okay...even 14 I'd have a huge crush on Zac Efron* too. ;)

So I guess I got on the wagon at a good time because the 2nd High School Musical comes out this weekend (comes out...? um...will be on the Disney Channel, not in theaters). I hope I can catch it at some point.

*okay, okay, gosh...i have a crush on him now, he's a cutie, with a nice BODY! Helllloooo! :) hahaha. I feel dirty. But he's over 18 right?! hahahaha.

Bourne is NOT Boring!

Um...AMAZING! I love the Bourne movies. I am a big fan of action movies and this is a great way to end the possible Bourne series. I don't think people would be opposed to seeing a fourth, and more final Bourne movie, I know I wouldn't.

This movie is so action packed. I mean there is so much going on that they didn't talk for a good 20 minutes during the movie! That's hard to do in an action movie. You don't notice it, either. That's the great part about it!

Go see it. I heard a critic say that this is a good date movie, because girls get to watch Matt Damon and guys get the action. UM...I'm here for the action, give me a little more credit please. Granted it's a benefit that Matt Damon is in it, but it is probably is a good date movie. haha.

Go see it, I think you will enjoy.

Final Spider-Man 3 Trailer

a bunch of us...to say the least...are seeing this tonight on IMAX! I'm excited! Can't wait, not just for the movie but to hang with everyone, it feels like it's been forever since I've done anything social really.

See you all there.
