Sneak Peek-Jeff & Bethany & Gang

I know. I know. I'm doing it to you again...a sneak peek. I'm not being cruel on purpose. It's purely on accident! I promise!

I have to tell you though, why I love this picture. Look at Haden (in the middle)...he is totally giving me a thumbs up! Hilarious!

More coming soon!

Rebelution!!!

UNLV BASKETBALL!!!

Whaaaaaat?! Oh yeah! Bring it!!

The season has already started! Who wants to go to some games with me?!?! Call me, text me, email me! I'm always game!

Picture weirdness, like a good relationship, gone bad.

Soooo, just a little side note...Blogger did something weird. I have to do a lot of html mumbo jumbo to make the pictures come out so large. Well a few weeks ago, Blogger changed some things, and now when I make the pictures big, they look a little pixelated/blocky/blurry/weeeeiird. I'm sorry! I'm trying to fix it.

Sometimes I think my eyes are playing tricks on me. And then other moments I know I'm not crazy! Straaange.

Blogger, oh how I have enjoyed the first half our relationship...we got along so well. We understood each other in a way I didn't think possible. I was falling in love over and over again in the beginning. I never thought I would love blogging, and then you came a long and changed my mind. Aaaand then this. I really thought at first it was me. I was willing to take the blame. But then I realized, "wait a minute, I'm doing more work here!" And I thought this whole time there was this equal 50/50 give and take. I don't want to fight. I really don't. But we might...sob...end our relationship sooner than I planned.

In the mean time, please bear with me! This really is actually leading me to looking into upgrading to new super dope blog, but it's all still in the works.

24 seconds in...gems.

I have found my new favorite commercial. At first I was confused. I didn't get what it was about...but 24 seconds in, it didn't matter any more.

Jackie, if LeBron can do it, so can you. Please study this commercial. I will be holding study sessions, let me know if you want me to be Kid or Play. I can do either or!

Oh, aaaand we WILL have a final exam soon.

Photo Session with Amy (aka A.J.)

I am excited to post these picture of the session I just had with one of my friends, Amy. When she asked me to take her pictures, I was shocked in an awesome way! I thought I would never get the chance to with her brother being a photographer as well. We had a ton of fun laughing as we shot pictures, per usual though when Amy and I get together.

I asked Amy for a model pose, this is what I got! :D

We were standing next to a body of water with this tall grass along the edges and Amy would keep getting distracted by "a noise" that was right by her. I didn't hear it, but she swears an anaconda was going to come out and get her. I told her she can be scared after I get my shot! :) haha!

I think this has to be my favorite shot of the day.

This one came in second. I just love it for some reason.

Thanks Amy for being willing to do some goofy things and willing to try things that made you look funny in front of those passing by. :D

Oh. And Amy, thanks for being the goody bag at the NON-pity party! :) haha

2 more years until the big one!

I was trying to get this in before the day was over and it was no longer my official birthday anymore...I'm just making it.
Twenty-eight years old. Whoa. To feel better about my age, I told my two older sisters that their baby sister is almost 30, and that should make them feel old. :) They knew my trick before I even finished my sentence. Sooo that didn't work! hahaha.

Dana & Alan say "I do!"

Here it is! I've had such a hard time editing myself with these pictures! There were just SO many to pick from! This was such a great wedding to photograph! I had so much fun! And every place we went to was amazing that I was able to shoot at(including the pit stop to In-N-Out! :) Woot!) I must again give a shout out to the bride and groom for the impeccable taste and how easy it was for me to shoot not only shoot their wedding as a whole but to shoot such gorgeous people as themselves and their wedding party! I'll stop babbling! Here it is:
Getting ready at the beautiful Palazzo Hotel:

Isn't Dana G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S! I use to work with Dana, I was so excited when she booked me to shoot her wedding. I knew from day one that it was going to be as great as it was.

Don't ask me why, but I love this shot on the escalator.

MARRIED!!

Dana wanted SO badly to shoot at the famous Neon Boneyard. I was beyond excited to shoot here. It was a ton of fun and I'm so happy that Dana picked such a funky cool place to shoot bridal party pictures.

I had to add this picture in to show you two of THE most kindest gentlemanly professional FUN and talented people I've met since I've started shooting weddings. On the left is Blake Awakuni (hayndragonboi27@yahoo.com), who did Dana's make-up and on the right is Lyle Malapit (lylemalapit@yahoo.com), who did Dana's hair. Booking them for you wedding will NOT be a mistake.

The wedding reception was held on the patio of Bouchon French Resturant at the Venetian. It was such a great place to have a reception outside! It is completely hidden in the Venetian, talk about a hidden gem! Believe me when I was initially coming to check out the location I had the hardest time finding it. But it is well worth it!

Above is percussionist Cayce Andrew (cayceandrew@yahoo.com). He was unbelievable. I have never had a couple have such a unique music set up as Dana and Alan had. Cayce accompanied DJ Carlos Sanchez's (below) house music (www.djcarlossanchez.com). I wish you could have heard it.
