I found this picture while going through some pictures I took at a wedding last year.
Love this shot.

Kealani
Here is my oldest niece, Kealani. She is slowly becoming jaded about getting her pictures taken. She is only five. I take most of the responsibility for that. hahahaha! But I loved this shot I got of her in front of my parent's house. She looked a lot like me as a little girl. But I think she is finally coming into her own. I know I don't have those gorgeous light eyes! I'm so jealous! But I did have that curly out of control hair. Poor girl, I feel her pain when it's time to brush out those curly locks!

One in the a.m. snack!
Yum...peanut butter.
I have ruined my sleeping schedule and have become a night owl again. So while I am working on photos really late at night, every once in a while I get the munchies. Usually I cure it by just going to bed, but not this time. I took one bite and I had to share how much I was loving my late night snack!
It's really the simple things that make me the happiest!
(and can I also mention that I was taking it back and listening to stuff I use to have on cassette tape back in the day but found it on cd/iTunes...I forgot how much I love SWV. hahaha!)

Texas, here I come!
I am headed to Texas next week to visit this cute girl! I'm SO excited!
(confused at which cute girl I'm talking about? My niece, duh, the one on the right! I don't need to visit myself in Texas! hahaha! I'm hilarious. I know. It's almost tragic! haha)
I won't have much access to a computer, but I do have my trusty iPhone. So you can still email, call or text me! I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
Yee HAW!

Matt & Amy: Engaged!
I am pretty excited to be shooting Amy and Matt's wedding in August. We tried to squeeze in an engagement session during a super busy time for both of us, but I'm so glad we were able to figure it out. I can't stress enough how important engagement sessions are. Even if you don't want to use the photos for anything related to the actual wedding day, it doesn't matter. This is our opportunity to meet, get to know each other and have an amazing time. This is also a way to allow you to see how I work and take your photos. So when the big day comes, the nerves won't be about having to stand in front of my camera because you will already know that it's easy breezy and, uh...FUN! I think that Matt won't admit it to me, but I think he was nervous about having to smile in front of a camera for about an hour. But he warmed up and realized what every person that I shoot realizes...it's not so bad...oh wait...I'm actually having fun! Hot dog! This is pretty sweet! (okay, I'm probably the only nerd who would say 'hot dog' in that way...but you catch my drift)
I had to throw in this last shot. This is when I knew I had won Matt over! haha!
Thanks Matt & Amy for a great time!

Lani
My family are huge supporters of my photography. I love them so much for helping me have faith in myself to take the big leap. Pursing my dreams of owning a successful photography business. One huge supporter is my oldest sister Lani. She will be my test model, my bag carrier, my wedding party rounder-upper, my second pair of eyes, my second shooter, my voice of reason and on and on, basically, she is my right hand.
I don't think I thank her enough. And I'm sure she won't consider me plastering a picture of her on my blog as thanks, but oh well, I like this shot! :)
I love you Ua. Thank you!
